The Movie Blogger Awards has been launched as a way to give every movie blogger a say in what they feel were the best movies, performances, direction and more from the past year.
Movie bloggers are a huge driving force behind a moviegoers decision to watch or avoid a film and each blogger has their own unique way of creating content.
Our awards aim to give everyone a voice, moving away from critic’s circles or press association-ran awards that limit membership to a select few.
Our aim is for the Movie Blogger Awards to grow into an important and respected event in the awards season – this won’t happen overnight, but with support of the movie blogging community we feel that this is by no means an unrealistic goal.
We hope to showcase everyone’s blogs and work across the Movie Blogger Awards website, our social channels and also on the evening of the awards night.
All bloggers involved will have their name and blogs included in the event programme given out on the night as well as having the opportunity to contribute to the evening itself – further information on this will be published over the next few weeks.
